Readers’ Reviews

Here are some of the previous reviews of Myre:

“What a delightful read. I felt transported to another time and place. Beautifully written and filled with history, romance, mystery and adventure. I especially loved the way the author tied up every thread, leaving me well satisfied but wanting more.” – M.R., Phoenix

“A Cocktail of Fun Adventure, Quirky Historical Trivia and Laugh-Out-Loud Predicaments!

What fun! I read Myre in one day. Great ending, but I wish it wasn’t over. Living in our fast-paced world can make settling into a work of fiction a challenge at times, but Romagnoli captures and surprises you in the first two pages. Myre’s unusual plot keeps us hooked while rewarding the reader with an ongoing litany of historical trivia about objects, words, and fascinating details about colonial life. Gina, the main character, is a hoot! I can just see a 30-year-old Fran Drescher in the role. Myre is a cornucopia of laugh-out-loud moments that turn time travel on its head. Apparently, the author is also a graphic artist, which may explain his knack for creating resonant cinematic images.” – J.G., New York

“Captivating and Entertaining

Myre was such an interesting and captivating book to read. I loved all of the characters, the storyline which moved between different times and the historical details that were described so well. All this while being so incredibly entertaining and a page turner. I honestly could not wait to see where the twists and turns would finally lead me. All of the details tied up so nicely. I am going to recommend this for our next book club book. Highly recommend!” – M.W., Boston

“A Page Turner

I found Myre to be a page tuner... couldn’t put it down. Initially thought it would be about time travel and actually wasn’t disappointed; time travel can happen in many ways. Myre was an interesting, informative, delightful and yes, sweet read; a great respite from the dark times we are currently living in. I HIGHLY recommend Myre.” – D.D., Paris

“Such a fun read!

This is truly a fun read for all - sprinkled with romance, mystery, and revolutionary plot turns. The heroine, fast talking Professor Gina Gallucci is a hoot. It’s a blast with the past - and the present! I loved getting MYRE’d, and think you will too!” – P.D., New York

“The first day I received it, reading this fascinating tale kept me up until midnight! I am still captivated, and I am already dreading finishing it and having to put it down.” – M.H., Durham, N.C.

“Last night finished reading ‘Myre” the first novel by Robert Romagnoli. I found it a page turner, yes, even on my Kindle. It was a wonderful respite from the current darkness / horror in our world. I HIGHLY recommend it!” – D.D.

“What a great story! But is it fantasy or is it real? The author weaves a fascinating tale that keeps you guessing until the rewarding conclusion. If you like Dan Brown or Michael Crichton, you'll really enjoy this book. It would make an amazing movie.” – R.R., Oregon
